Our Mission

Mission Statement:

Our mission is to empower the youth of sub-saharan Africa through a transfer of educational and social awareness, in order to unlock and realise their full potential, and thereby facilitate a better future for themselves as individuals and for the region as a whole.

Our Objectives:

Empowering

  • Through our holistic intervention, we hope to address social and academic stereotypes that are often veiled under patriarchal fundamentalism, preventing access to opportunities for young women in various fields i.e. STEM
  • We will also address some self-limiting, culturally ingrained beliefs that may prevent young women from achieving their full potential based on personal experiences or invited visitors 
  • We will offer continuous self-improvement tools motivational, expert advice and Mentorship guidance from academic leaders and professionals 
  • We will provide dedicated expert mentoring by relatable experts who are otherwise inaccessible to teenage girls and young women of all ages
  • Expert specific training will also be offered in various fields i.e., digital, scientific, and more.

Providing student-centric, safe space 

  • We will provide advice that is tailored to people with different types of personalities and interests, and we break down deeply ingrained stereotypes on what it is portrayed as being an excellent student while excluding students of certain personality traits.
    • Ways to navigate academia / the academic landscape as an introvert. 

Nurturing creative- using creative writing to share ideas commentary and inspiration

  • Mentoring and encouraging young girls to communicate their complex ideas in simple and understandable ways so that they will be more persuasive, effective, and strategic communicators
